Warren A. Wilson's Obituary
Funeral mass for Warren Albert Wilson, 88, of Longview will be Thursday October 28, 2010 at 2 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Longview with Rev. Gavin Vaverek officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday October 27, 2010 from 5 to 6 P.M. and the Rosary starting at 6 P.M. with Deacon Vincent Blue Wilson officiating. Entombment will be at Rosewood Park Mausoleum following Mass.
Mr. Wilson passed away Monday October 25, 2010 at his residence. Warren was born August 24, 1922 in Garber Oklahoma to Albert and Sarah Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked with the department of Field Services with Eastman Kodak for 20 years before retiring. Warren Wilson served in World War II with the Army Air Corp. as a Staff Sergeant working as a Flight Traffic Clerk. He was a parishioner with St. Mary's Catholic Church in Longivew.
Warren Wilson was preceded in death by his loving wife Janet Marie Wilson, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by three sons, Jim and his wife Charlene, Phil, and Billy and his wife Patsy, one sister; Virginia Jondrow, six grandchildren; Blue, Amber, Tony, Alisha, Steven, and Chris and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Meals on Wheels or St. Mary's Catholic School. Mr. Wilson will always be remembered by his family and friends as a devoted, loving husband and dad.
