Thank you for the opportunity that was given to me as a CNA at Buckner Westminster Place, in Memory Care to care for Mrs Reeves. Everyday was a new day for Mrs Reeves. I had the night shift & Mrs Reeves was up most of the nights with me. She shared fond memories of her family. Mrs Reeves loved her boys & her dog, Penny. She often called for Delois, I assumed Delois was a wonderful cook because Mrs Reeves was always asking her to stir the soup, to put the casserole in the oven or to make sure the table was set before the guest arrived. Mrs Reeves had a big sense of humor. Sometimes she liked you & other times you were not her favorite person. Mrs Reeves shared her opinions loudly. She was very grateful & always “most of the time” appreciated your help. Mrs Reeves was one of a kind & will always be remembered. It was my honor to care for her until her journey on earth was complete. It was an adventure!
