Wanda McCune's Obituary
Funeral services for Wanda McCune, age 73 of Henderson will be held at 2:00PM Saturday September 16, 2006, in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel
in Henderson with Rev. Don Shultz officiating, burial will follow in the
McCune Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson,
Mr. McCune passed away Thursday September 14, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. McCune was born January 31, 1933 in Ringling Oklahoma, and had lived in Henderson for many years. She was retired from the Henderson Independent School District after 30 years, where she was the manager of the Henderson Middle School Cafeteria. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Laneville, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8535 in Henderson.
Survivors include her Husband James McCune of Henderson, 2 Daughters,
Jimmie Lynn McCune of Henderson, Roxann Lackner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sister, Helen Johnson of Kansas, Brothers Buck Layton and Boone Layton of Arlington, Texas, and DeWayne Layton of Peterson, Texas. 2 Grandsons Chris and Clinton Lackner of Oklahoma City.
Several nieces and nephews, and a whole host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm Friday night at the Funeral Home.
