Funeral services for Wanda F. Martin will be held at Longview Missionary Baptist Church of Longview on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Martin passed away in the early afternoon of July 27, 2025, in Longview TX.
Wanda was born in Cleveland, TX on May 24, 1943, to parents Beamon and Linda Fay Lawrence. Soon after her graduation from Timpson High School she married and started a family. In her later life, Wanda had a love of working outside in her garden and tending her plants. Beyond all her passions, Wanda loved her Lord attending her church here in Longview.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband David O. Martin, brothers Beamon Crawford Lawrence and Otis Lawrence, sister Jo Evelyn Haskins and her stepson Christopher Martin. Those left to cherish their memories of Wanda include her children, Elizabeth Ceal Reed with her spouse Wes, James David Ceal and his spouse Melanie, and Tracey Martin and spouse Juan; grandchildren Brandon Myers (Traci), Adam Myers (Jessi) Haley Crosby, Brian Bullock, and Erin Ceal; 7 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
