Wanda Leigh Harrington (Howell)'s Obituary
Wanda Leigh Harrington (Howell) age 81, of Gladewater, TX, passed away February 10, 2016. She was born August 11, 1934 in De Berry, TX to Henry and Lula Howell. Wanda was raised in Elysian Fields, TX and it was there she graduated from high school. She worked for many years in the Oil and Gas industry. Wanda was known for her great cooking and canning of foods. She was fondly called “Granny” by her 6 grandchildren. Wanda was an accomplished quilter; she loved to fish and spend quality time with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son Jeff D. Thomas and his wife of Longview,
TX, her sister Faye Whitis of Longview, TX, and 6 grandchildren. Wanda’s husband Henry Harrington (Red), her daughter Debra Thomas (Debbie) 4 sisters and 1 brother all precede her in passing.
Graveside services for Wanda will be 10am Saturday, February 13, 2016 at De Berry Cemetery in De Berry, TX.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart To Heart Hospice in Longview, TX.
Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
