Wanda Gregory Sinclair's Obituary
Services for Wanda Gregory Sinclair, 80, of Longview will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Kevin Wittmayer officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2012. Mrs. Sinclair passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012.
Mrs. Sinclair was born in Hill County, Texas on September 17, 1932 to James L. and Etta Mae Gregory. She married Joseph Edward Ed Sinclair Jr. who preceded her in death on September 14, 1991. They lived in Houston where they raised their two sons, then moved to Longview in 1979.
Mrs. Sinclair was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Daughters of the King. She was very active and supportive of her church, including the Altar Guild, and was also very active with community organizations including the Longview Museum of Fine Arts, the Belcher Theater Center, and the Meals on Wheels program.
She is survived by her sons Barry Sinclair of Longview, Phil Sinclair of Gilmer, daughter-in-law Julie Sinclair of Gilmer, brother and sister-in-law JC and Wilma Gregory of Mabank, Texas; three grandchildren Cheryl Sinclair of San Antonio, Texas, Sarah Sinclair of Gilmer, Matthew Sinclair of Gilmer and numerous nephews and nieces.
