Wanda Gayle Roberson
Funeral services for Wanda Gayle Roberson, 66, of Diana will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Dr. Greg Zackary officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. She went to be with her Lord Friday morning, August 8, following a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 10, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberson was born September 30, 1941 in Longview to Gary Osbin Adams and Opal Viola Adams and had been a lifetime resident of the Longview area. She was a homemaker and a member of Mobberly Baptist Church where she was a member of the Seniors Small Bible Study.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, Kenneth Roberson of Diana; her children, Cathy Ann Helbig and husband Larry of Bossier City, Gary Don Ford and Wife Ruthie of Kilgore, Mark Roberson of Waxahachie, Wes Roberson of Houston and Dena Kay Roberson of Houston; grandchildren, Lance Hayes, Tori Langdon, and Tasha Johnston; great grandchildren, Carter, Connor and Madison; sister, Patricia Bussey and husband James Earl of Longview; brother, Gary Adams and wife Mary of Hartsville, SC; and sister-in-law, Glenda Roberson of Tyler.
