Wanda Faye Davis' Obituary
Services for Wanda Faye Davis, age 77 will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Henderson, TX on Wednesday Feb. 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Rusk County. She married her beloved husband of 62 years, Bill. They moved to California where they raised three children before moving back to Texas in 1978.
Wanda Faye worked for many years as a bridal consultant for Brosangs. She fought an ardent battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and numerous other illnesses. Wanda Faye loved her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Posey and Rosalee Posey, her brothers Thomas E. Posey and Shelton Posey, and sister Norma Ruth McDaniel.
Wanda Faye loved her family with all of her heart. She had the respect of all who knew her.
Her survivors include husband of 62 years, Bill; two daughters, Elizabeth Flora and husband Roy of Tyler, TX, Wanda Jean Rohrbach and husband Brad of Garden Valley California, son, Billy Ray Davis of Michigan, and brother Thurman Posey of Conroe, TX, sisters Joyce Jones, Geri Beach of Henderson, four grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roy Flora Sr., Roy Flora Jr., Jason Rohrbach, Mark Rogers, Tim Veasy, David Jones, Dwayne Posey and Chase Miller.
Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8PM at Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
