Wanda was born on April 4, 1937 in the Liberty Community in Marion County, Texas to Ben and Pauline Stewart. She was a 1955 graduate of Marshall High School and was married to the love of her life, Luther J. Dominy that same year. Some of her fondest memories were of singing together with her family in little country churches in her younger years. She worked for many years in banking in various positions. Mrs. Dominy loved her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved vacationing in Colorado and spending time outdoors whether she was camping, fishing or gardening. She was very accomplished in both pottery and canning and preserving, winning ribbons many times in local competitions.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Wayne Dominy; and by her sister-in-law, Nelda Stewart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Luther J. Dominy; her children Jerri Lynn Haynes and her husband Clif, Danny Carl Dominy, and Linda Gail Davis and her husband Mark; her brother, Arnold L. Stewart and his wife Mary Lee; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and by her loyal dog Bella, who she dearly loved.
