Wanda Mae Cunningham Costa's Obituary
Wanda was born on December 30, 1940, in Frederick, OK to parents A. Randall Cunningham and Lillian Gertrude Prater Cunningham. She had two sisters and two brothers.
Her family moved to Longview in 1959, where she attended BMI Business School. She married Jerry Costa on March 24, 1977. They shared 31 happy years together until his death on September 24, 2008. Wanda and Jerry spent many hours volunteering their time at the Gregg County ARC where Jerry’s son Jeff spent lots of happy days. Wanda was the parts manager for Beavers Buick and Sisk Buick for 20 years.
After Jerry’s death Wanda Volunteered at Margaret’s House Hospice and Texas Oncology Center in Longview. She loved to work in the yard. She will be remembered for her pretty smile, her quick wit, her temper as needed, her love for her dogs and her talents as a seamstress.
She fought the long fight with Alzheimer's disease and is at rest now with the Lord and Jerry.
