Walter Francis Matthews' Obituary
Walter Francis Matthews was born on April 26, 1919 in Los Angeles, California to George and Louise Matthews. He passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday April 9, 2017 in Longview, Texas.
He is proceeded in death by his parents George and Louise Matthews; Sons Stanley and Mike Matthews; and sister Lou Manger, all of Los Angeles, California.
He is survived by his wife Dortha; Stepsons Larry Mcfarland and wife Karen, Allen Mcfarland and wife Debi and Mike McFarland and wife Karen.
Mr. Matthews served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a fireman with the Los Angeles Fire Department in California for many years.
