Walter Byron Henson, Sr's Obituary
Walter Byron Henson, Sr. , 70, was born July 22, 1937 to William and Velma Satterwhite Henson and died September 17, 2007. A native East-Texan, Mr. Henson served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a heavy equipment operator having been involved in many significant construction projects in the Longview area.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons and daughters-in-law, Robin Henson and Stacy, Walter B. Fuzzy Henson, Jr. and Phillis, Michael Henson and Lisa, Dale Henson and Carla; daughter, Tammy Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Mindy Green and James, twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Allyne Wells and Marie Loyd; brother, Neil Henson and special friend, Collum Melton. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Henson.
Cremation arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Longview with burial at a later date in the Savannah Cemetery in Red River County, Texas.
