Wally Fowler, 81, of Longview, Texas, passed away July 29, 2018. After serving twenty years in the Air Force, he began a long career in education, teaching technical drafting courses at Lee College for eighteen years. Wally was a Read Obituary
He was s great piano man. I taught with him at Lee Collage.
Just found out about Wally's passing today. I will both miss him and cherish our friendship. He was a wonderful human being that always found good in everyone that he met. When he and Dana moved from Baytown, we bought their home in Lakewood and lived in it until last year. We did have the opportunity to visit and "jam" with Wally earlier this year. He was still as super talented as always. I recorded an album of material with Wally and his sister Barbara years back and it was a total joy to work with someone so talented. He always thanked me for the "favor" and I thanked him for the experience. You will be missed my friend.
