W. I. Bill Warrick, Jr.
Funeral services for W.I. Bill Warrick, Jr. 82, of Longview will be held at Two O'clock pm Thursday March 18, 2010 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Keith A. Rothra officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery in Pritchett, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Warrick passed away Monday March 15, 2010 in Longview.
He was born November 6, 1927 in Pittsburg, Texas to Willie Idas and Mary Seay Warrick, Sr. He had lived in Longview since 1953 after serving in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Texas Eastman as a Shift Foreman after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Ophelia Warrick of Longview, a brother, Edwin Warrick of Riverside, CA, sisters, Sue Davis of Longview and Blossom Hiles of Ore City, two sons, Don Warrick of Longview, Carl Warrick and wife Barbara of Longview, daughter, Sheila Leslie of Murfreesboro, TN ; four grandchildren, Blaine Warrick, Blaise Warrick, Harrison Leslie, and Lindsay Leslie; one great-grandchild, Caiden Leslie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Idas and Mary Seay Warrick, brother Hunter Warrick of Gilmer, and Mary Willie Taylor of Brumley, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 6-8pm.
