W. H. ?Billy? Johnson
Graveside services for W. H. ?Billy? Johnson, 83, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 10, 2005 at Lakeview Cemetery with the Reverend Bryan Peck officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Pm Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Road.
Mr. Johnson was born on October 27, 1921 in Kilgore to Charles William and Carrie Reed Johnson. He passed away on June 7, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Johnson was a self employed plumber and enjoyed outdoors and meeting people and was a Baptist. He also served his country during World War II with the United States ARMY.
A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Mary Margaret Johnson; one son, William Charles Johnson; one grandson, Charles Ray Madewell; and one sister, Mary Lee Cline. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Debbie Johnson of Longview; daughters, Betty Madewell of Longview, Kathryn Patterson of Longview; grandchildren, Bobby Johnson, Billy Johnson, Jerry Glenn Dorsey, Deborah Graham, Bobby Joe Madewell; four great grandchildren, sister, Jo Woods of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
