Vivian Elaine Cunyus' Obituary
Funeral services for Vivian Elaine Cunyus, 87, of Longview, will be 12 Noon Wednesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Dr. Jim Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Peatown Cemetery, Peatown Community. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cunyus went to be with her Lord Sunday, October 25, at a local nursing facility.
A native of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, she was born October 19, 1922 and had lived in the Longview area most of her life. She was retired from the Gregg County Clerks office and had worked in the District Clerk?s office. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Longview.
Mrs. Cunyus was preceded in death by her parents Speros and Pauline Anderson and her husband of 63 years William L. Cunyus.
She is survived by her son: Bill Cunyus and wife Rexanne of Longview, daughter: Cathy Sunkel and husband David of Weatherford, grandchildren: Kelly Cunyus Smith and husband Taylor of Grapevine and Courtney Sunkel Gilson and husband Michael of Ft. Worth, TX., sister: Kathryn Tedford and husband Roy of Dallas and a nephew, Ted Tedford of Dallas.
