Vivian C. Pickron's Obituary
Vivian C. Pickron passed into life eternal at 9:30am Sunday March 25, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday
March 28, 2007 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel , with the Dr. Harold
Springfield and Cary Ponder officiating, burial will follow in the Buckner Cemetery with Rader Funeral Home of Henderson in Charge of the service.
She was born Oct 1, 1918 in the Pine Hill Community, and was a lifelong
resident of Rusk County. During WW II she was a rivitor on airplanes.
Later she became a nurse where she worked at Henderson Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1990. She was also a lifetime member
of the Eastern Star, and was a Methodist. Vivian loved to cook and sew
for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bessie & Homer Farley, sisters
Helen Pie Howeth, Sentis Young, brothers Buford Farley, T.J. Farley, and
Ralph Buddy Farley.
Survivors include her daughter Jerry Lou Chynna Moore of Henderson.
Two Grandsons Kenneth Moore and wife Stephanie of Houston, James Moore and wife Denise of Corpus Christi. Two great granddaughters
Kyra Moore and Makayla Terrell. Great niece Candy Cockerham and husband Darrell of New Hampshire. Brother Sambo Farley and wife
Eva of Zavalla. Other relatives are sister-in-laws Louise Farley and EdithWelch of Henderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a good friend Greg Sherow of Henderson
and four beloved pets Gus the dog, Dolly. CC & Jinx the cats
Pallbearers will be Ralph Farley, Will McCoy, Rex McKey, Greg Sherow, Mike Radford and Henry Killgore.
The family will meet friends from 6pm until 8pm Tuesday night at the Funeral Home.
