Graveside Services for Virginia Stanley will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Mausoleum of Memory Park. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, May 25 from 6-8pm at the Funeral Home.
Virginia was born on November 9, 1940 to parents Theodore and Helen Rowe in Westmoreland Co, PA. She was an avid worker her entire life, spending many years employed by the Longview News Journal. In addition, she had a love of music and dancing, especially when it involved old country. Virginia was an avid Yankees Fan and rarely missed a game. Above all else, she was a loving mother, and grandmother, and dog lover.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Theodore; a sister, Betty Stone; her daughter, Sheila Loftis; and a grandson, Jesse Edwards. Those left to cherish their memories of Virginia include her children, Melinda Cole and her husband Henry of Sibley LA., Theo Harber and his wife Connie of Longview, and Leo D. Harber and his wife Darla of Longview; her grandchildren Shelly and Jason Clark of Gilmer, Holly and Chris Cary, and Ronny and Anthony Harber; She will also be remembered by her 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma South and her husband Allen of Oklahoma City OK; and her niece, Linda Penington.
