Virginia Carol Plunkett, daughter of the late William Harry and Virginia Rhodes. Born November 7, 1945, in Maryville, Tennessee.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; and drinking diet coke. She made the best sweet potato pies, along with fried chicken, homemade biscuits, and chicken and dumplins. Best cook around!
Survived by her children, Dayton (Shannon) Plunkett Jr., Jeffery (Angela) Plunkett, and Kimberly (Cecil) Kindle. Grandchildren, Dillon (Bethany) Plunkett, Brady, Drake, and Journie Plunkett, Cody (Jessica) Todd, Corey Bubba (Brooke) Todd, Colton (Amy) Plunkett, Jenna (David) McVay, Ashley (Jeremy) Clifton, and many great grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Dayton Plunkett Sr., and son Casey Plunkett.
There will be a time of viewing at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 5pm-7pm. Her graveside service will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at Elderville Cemetery, Longview, starting at 2pm.
