Virginia ?Jenny? Fowler Lindsay
A graveside celebration of the life of Virginia ?Jenny? Fowler Lindsay, 78, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Monday, April 25, 2005 at Memory Park Cemetery with Dr. Laney L. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Born Virginia ?Jenny? Fowler on March 4, 1927 to school teachers, Squire Washington Fowler and Eve Mary Page Fowler of the Opelika Community in Henderson County, Texas, she was one of twelve children in an East Texas family known for their singing and musicianship.
She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of Mobberly Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Lindsay; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Harriett and Jimmy Prine of Lake Cherokee; sons and daughter-in-law, Howard M. and Margaret Hunt of Hallsville, Thomas C. Hunt of Hallsville; grandchildren, Chris Prine and his wife Stephanie, Angela Prine, Jessica Hunt, Megan Hunt; and two great grandchildren, Wade and Leah Prine.
