VIRGINIA LEE PARKER
Services for Virginia Lee Parker , 85, of Longview will be held 2 pm Wednesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David English officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Parker died Monday evening at a local hospice facility.
She was born April 15, 1924 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Fred and Lillian Thomas Williams. She resided in Longview for most of her adult life where she was a member of the First Baptist Church, a homemaker, and a secretary for a local insurance agency. Virginia was a strong loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herman, and is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Parker of Longview and Priscilla Brennion and husband, Bryan of Longview; grandchildren, Kimberly Ward and Mike of Austin, Kelly Brennion of Dallas, Karlye Brennion of Austin and great granddaughter, Olivia Ward of Austin; sister, Dorothy Woomer of Plano and a number of nieces and nephews.
