Virginia Lee Boley Acker's Obituary
Virginia Lee Boley Acker was born January 13, 1937 in Bitter Creek, TX to Louella and W.A. Boley. She graduated from Paschal High School in Ft. Worth. She met the love of her life, James Acker in Olney, TX. They were married in 1954.
Virginia worked for Hughes Tools company as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved spending time with her family, entertaining family and friends, anything horses, and camping in the great outdoors while her husband was on canoe trips. She and her husband raised Arabian Horses on their farm, Checkmate Arabians. Virginia had the spirit of a fiery redhead with the smile of an angel. She was full of love and compassion. She will be missed by many, but we find great rest knowing she is in the arms of the Lord.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Louella and W.A. Boley, and her husband, James Acker, Sr. She is survived by her three sons, James Acker, Jr. and wife, Karen; Randy Acker and wife, Gail; Terry Acker and wife, Lisa; and grandchildren Christopher Acker; Jereme Acker; Amy Baker and husband, Obie; Cody Orms and wife, Corinna; Dustin Acker; Terry Acker, Jr. and wife, Clara; Jace Acker and wife, Erin; Kaleigh White and husband, Kurt; Mary Kate Leach and 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Park on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Noon.
