Virginia A Reeves' Obituary
Virginia Ann Reeves, 69, of Longview went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was known as "Ann" to those that loved her. Memorial services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
She was born November 13, 1943, in Longview, to Forest and Ilamae Hooper. She was employed by Pine Tree ISD for 20 years. She was married to Jerry Reeves for 51 years. She was part of the "kitchen crew" at Calvary Baptist Church as well as an active member for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Forest and Ilamae Hooper; and granddaughter, Mackinsey Blalock.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Jerry; daughter Debra and James Sturm of Kilgore; son Doyle and Penney Reeves of White Oak; Granddaughters, Nikki and Cory Moon of Midlothian and Reagan and Gunner Reeves of White Oak; and great-granddaughter, Avery Moon of Midlothian. She had two sisters, Lefern Davis of Linden and Dessie and Mickey Meadows of Longview.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice or to Pennies for Penney fund raiser for her daughter-in-law.
