Virgil A. Sellers' Obituary
Funeral services for Virgil Sellers, 75, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 10, 2008, at Rader Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Ricks and Rev. James Zedlitz officiating. Burial will be in Laneville Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Sellers died Friday, March 7, 2008 at his residence.
He was born May 12, 1932 to S.T. and Carrie Chamberlain Sellers in the New Salem Community. He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist, and served in the US Army in the Korean War.
Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Sellers of Henderson; children, Dean and Kathy Gooch of Henderson, Becky Long of Kilgore, Kim and Mike Zedlitz of Tyler, and Serenia Clinton of Leveretts Chapel; Mother, Carrie Sellers of Henderson; sister, Ressie Mae Sellers of Henderson; brother, Joe Sellers of West Texas; special aunt Mavis Lee; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Travis Long, Jr., Billy Tyler, Jr., Johnathan Zedlitz, Jason Zedlitz, A.J. Marcil, Jamie Gooch, Roger Clinton, and Kevin Clinton. Honorary pallbearers will be Darwin Miley, DeWayne Miley, Travis Long, Sr., Randy Miley, Dean Gooch, and Mike Zedlitz.
Visitation will be Sunday, 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
