Violet Kathleen LeLeux's Obituary
Funeral services for Violet K. Nanny Vi LeLeux, 81, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 27, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Patsy G. Barham, The Rev. Tom Woods, and Rev. Ricky Ricks officiating. Burial will follow in Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
She was born June 5, 1926 in London, England to Harry and Florence Poland. She came to the United States in 1945 and had lived in Henderson since 1965. She was a housewife, a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church, and a longtime volunteer with the Henderson Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. LeLeux was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alix LeLeux, a brother Harry Poland, and two sisters, Hilda Flowers and Ollie Weston.
Surviving is a son, Greg LeLeux of Henderson; daughter, Bonnie Geddie and husband John of Henderson; sisters, Marie Pennett and husband John of London, England and Doris Keates of Maidenhead, England; grandchildren, Kim Geddie of Lewisville and Jordan Geddie of Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Strong, Gaylon Rains, Ken Houck, Bobby Davis, Mark Dickerson, Pat Murphy, Gary Johnson, and Robin Watkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Henderson Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
