Violet Louise Brumley's Obituary
Violet L. Brumley, 93, of Longview Texas went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 21, 2014. She was born on November 24, 1920 in Tyler, Texas. Violet was a member of Calvary Baptist in Tyler for many years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. In her later years, she became an exceptional artist.
Mrs. Brumley was preceded in death by her late husband, JT Brumley. She is survived by her daughter, Gay Welch and husband Bud of Longview and son Tom Brumley of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Lisa Nau of Hallsville, Paige Sgrignoli of Denver and one grandson Brady Welch and wife Amy of White Oak. Violet also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22 from 6-8 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A graveside service will be held at Tyler Memorial Cemetery at 2 pm on Thursday, October 23. Service will be officiated by Pastor Mike McFarlin.
