Viola Allen's Obituary
A celebration of life for Viola Allen, 84, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Rev. Phillip Phelps and Rev. Mark Hendrick officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, March 26, at Memorial Gardens in Texarkana Arkansas.
Viola was born on January 12, 1935 in Stamps, Arkansas to Perry and Gracie Hatcher. She was married for 64 years to the love of her life, Jody Allen. She was a faithful member of the Longview First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School, was on the Intercessory prayer team and was a leader of the senior women’s group for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Edward Allen; her parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; her daughter, Renee Hall; her daughter-in-law Joyce Allen; her grandchildren Charles David Allen, Crystal Dawn Hall, Justin and Jolene Littlejohn, and James and Amanda Littlejohn; her great grandchildren Shawn, Sarah, Justin, Jason, Jasper, Jocelyn, Ethan, Brent and Taryn.
