Vincent T. Johnson
Mass of Christian Burial for Vincent T. Johnson, 76, of Longview will be at Eleven O?clock AM Monday March 10, 2003 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Father Xavier Pappu officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Johnson passed away Saturday March 8, 2003 in Longview.
He was born May 18, 1926 in Texarkana, Texas to Herman and Lena Johnson who precede him in death. Mr. Johnson had lived in Longview since 1968.
Mr. Johnson retired as a Brewer Supervisor for Stroh?s after twenty years of service. He was a member of St. Matthew?s Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Navy and U. S. Coast Guard during World War 11 and Korea.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, of Longview; daughter, Crystal Johnson of Longview;
Granddaughter, Karah Garrett, brother, Bernard Johnson of Texarkana, Ark.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernice and Raymond McClurg of Social Circle, Georgia; Jeanette and Jim Rigney of Texarkana, Ark; a host of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Rama Nayini, Dr. Larry Frase, and the Fourth Floor Nurses at Good Shepherd Medical Center for their care and love during Mr. Johnson?s illness.
