Vickie Leigh Burcham's Obituary
Vickie Leigh Burcham passed away on November 10, 2024. She was born on June 17, 1959 in Longview, Texas to James Allen Burcham, Sr. and Bobbie Nell Cook Burcham. She graduated from Longview High School in 1977 and served 2 years in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. She worked at Texas Eastman for 33 years.
After retiring, she enjoyed travelling, attending concerts and lived her life to the fullest. Vickie was caring, funny, outgoing and never met a stranger.
Vickie was preceded in death by her father, James Allen Burcham, Sr., brother Larry Wayne Burcham and uncle Nathan Cook.
Vickie is survived by her mother, Bobbie Burcham, brother Jamie Burcham and wife Jana, niece Jennifer Bello and husband Rito, nephew Shane Burcham and Alyssa. A great nephew, Issac Ludlam and great niece, Micah Ludlam. She is also survived by her aunt Lynda Gilbert and husband Steve.
Services will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and the service will be at 10:00 AM. Following her service she will be laid to rest at Grace Hill Cemetery in Longview, Texas. An online memorial book may be signed at the funeral home’s website at www.raderfh.com. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Animal Protection League of Longview.
