Vicki Fisher Marks' Obituary
Vicki Fisher Marks had beautiful, long, thick hair even at 49, big blue eyes, and perfect nails. Was she sweet? Could be-but mostly, she was sassy, witty, intellectually stimulating, challenging and so very charming. She made you laugh; you couldn?t help yourself. How will we do without her?
She passed to a higher plane on July 4, 2002, in Albuquerque, NM. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 6, at 3:00 PM at White Cemetery in Longview with Reverend David R. Smith officiating and special music by Reverend Mark Horner.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Those unable to attend services may sign an online guestbook at www.raderfh.com
and going to obituaries.
Born August 16, 1952, to Weldon and Kathryn Fisher, Vicki was a lifetime resident of East Texas until three years ago when she met the love of her life, married, and moved to New Mexico. She was a member of Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served as secretary there prior to her marriage.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Marks of Albuquerque; mother, Kathryn Nichols of Longview; sister, Darlynn Jones of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Gerald Stone of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Archie Granbery of Denver, CO; nieces, Candace Bagnoli of Atlanta, GA, Dewana Dorsey of Lake Cherokee, Karina Dorsey of San Diego, CA and Lee Ann Crews of Denver, CO; aunts, Rose Adams of Longview and Frankie Craig of Tomball; her beloved izzy; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Memories of her quick wit and sense of humor will sustain us along with the certainty that she lived life to the fullest and now rests with the Lord.
