Graveside services for Versie Bowman, 86, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock am Monday October 24, 2005 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverends Jay McCasland and Ken Brumley officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Bowman passed away Thursday October 20, 2005 in Longview.
She was born June 20, 1919 in Forest, Texas to Hodge and Mollie Killion. She was a homemaker and a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Gloria Bowman of Longview, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and John Cox of Midland, TX.; four grandchildren, Julie Rester of Starkville, MS.; Jim Cox of Mansfield, TX.; Jeff Bowman of Otego, N.Y.; Chris Bowman of Longview, TX.; seven great grandchildren, one sister, Jo LaRue of Marshall, TX.; also special friends Leta Grace of Longview, TX. and Sally Coker of Gladewater, TX.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday October 23, 2005 from 3 pm until 5 pm.
Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her husband John in 1985.
