Verena Woodson's Obituary
Mrs. Verena Woodson daughter of the late Johann Keller and Adelheid Keller was born July 4, 1957 in Germany. She married Michael Woodson on May 31, 1988. They have two children.
Her Christian journey began at the Piedmont Church of Christ and later she worked faithfully at the East Cotton Street Church in Longview, Texas.
On Wednesday, November 28, 2001, the Lord called Verena home from her pain and suffering of cancer. Her grandparents, Peter and Katharina Kaiser and her only brother Ottmar Keller preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Michael, and children Pamela and Brian Woodson; three sisters, Gaby, Ginige, Ulrike Keller, and Maike Brent; sisters-in-law Sharon, Linda, Angela and Barbara; brothers-in-law Willie, Terry, Pat and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other relatives. Her church family, many co-workers and friends will also miss her.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday, December 1 at the East Cotton St. Church of Christ, 2015 E. Cotton St., Longview. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Gregg North Unit, PO Box 906, Longview, TX 75606 or to Greater Hospice of Texas,

I am very proud of both of you, You have given me so much joy, laughter and love. I never planned to leave you so early, but I was proud to be your mom. I take with me you love and I believe that you will always love me. I leave you in God?s care. Whatever you do, remember him.
