Vera Masters' Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Vera Masters, 90, will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church; there will be a Rosary beginning at 11:30 am at the Church. Burial will be held following the Mass at Rosewood Park Mausoleum. Vera went to be with the Lord in the early morning of August 4, 2015.
Vera was born in Park Falls WI on December 10, 1924 to loving parents Eugene and Matti Morgan. She was a longtime cancer survivor. Vera was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years and a member of the Oak Forest Ladies Golf Association (OFLGA). During her time in the OFLGA, Vera helped her flight win multiple trophies and many tournaments. Above all other things, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Vera was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Willis F. Masters; and her son, Roger A. Masters. Those left to cherish Vera’s memory include her daughter-in-law Pam Masters; grandchildren David Masters (Shelly Masters), Sarah Masters Mooney (Devin Mooney), Joie-Lisa Masters Robinson (Scotty Robinson); 6 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Ruth Masters Schumacher.
