I wish I could be there with her family to say goodbye. I have to say that she was always my favorite. Aunt Vera had the most beautiful smile and had a heart to match. I so enjoyed hearing her gentle laugh as she shared stories with those around her.
I can't help but think of all the wonderful reunions we had in DeQueen and how they pale in comparison to the one that is going on in heaven right now! She was always one of Dad's favorite sisters-in-law and I know he's laughing and visiting and listening to Howard tell his tales.
We will be holding you close in thought and prayer now and in the days ahead.
