LONGVIEW – Velma June Bridger, 84, born December 10, 1928, passed from this life on February 1, 2013, in Longview, Texas and is now with her Lord and Savior.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
June's love of family and friends was only surpassed by her deep Christian faith. Her favorite Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns have lost one of their most devoted fans. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Rufus Delbert and Essie Pearl Crump, her loving husband and dance partner Horace Everett Bridger and her sister Marie Robinson.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, John Bridger, Jim Bridger and Terry Bridger; their wives, Kathie, Maru and Stacy; her grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Elliott, Jennifer, Kenneth, David and Hannah; her great grandchildren, David and Samuel; her niece, Sherry Robinson; her nephews, Randy and Ronny Robinson; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
