Vadie Elizabeth Sullivan Arrington's Obituary
Vadie Elizabeth Sullivan Arrinton was born on January 3, 1935 to Russell and Isabelle Sullivan and passed away on May 21, 2025 at her home in Longview, Texas. She attended Hallsville ISD where she excelled in basketball and was a proud Drum Major for the Roaring Band from Bobcat Lane.
Vadie married Billy Edward Arrington on March 2, 1954 and was the proud mom of two daughters. Vadie was a lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she was member of the Ester Class. Preceding her in death was her husband, Bill, her mother and father, sister Elsie Brantley, brother Garland Sullivan, brother Dedrick Sullivan and baby sister, Virgie Mae Bob.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Arrington Stone (Keith), Angela Arrington Paramore (Donald), Grandchildren, Jordon Paramore (Leslie), Andrea Paramore Richardson (Nick), Blake Stone (Brooke) and Victoria Stone. Great grandchildren, Grayson Paramore and Deacon Richardson and her favorite nephew, Huey Precise.
We will dearly miss our Mother, Nana and Lala.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am to noon, Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Memory Park.
