Funeral services for Troyce Lee Price, 87, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Friday, August 25 at his residence in Longview.
Mr. Price was born October 24, 1918 to the Reverend E. J. and Teresa Price in Wheatland, Oklahoma. He was employed at Corpus Christi Army Depot as a crash damaged investigator on helicopters. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Longview and the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Elvin and Jesse Price.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Margaret Stone Price of Longview; daughters, Lou Powell of Longview and Judy Settle and husband Bob of Jacksonville, TX; grandchildren, Paul Ellsworth and wife April of Kilgore, Angela Cook and husband Mike of Shreveport, LA, Lake Settle and wife Melissa of Rusk, TX, and Season Caughlin and husband Bryan of Waco; 2 great grandchildren, Raven Ellsworth and Austin Cook of Shreveport; brother, E. J. Price and wife Mary of Tomball; and sister, Hazel Rountree of Athens, TX. He is also survived by his special friends Al and Anita Ansel along with many nieces, nephews and many other friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Al Ansel, Bob Settle, Paul Ellsworth, Mike Cook, Lake Settle and Bryan Caughlin.
