Troy M Shirley's Obituary
Funeral services for Troy M. Shirley, 79, of Longview will be at 12 Noon, Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park.
Mr. Shirley was born December 16, 1924 to W. F. and Monrie Shirley in Sand Hill, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Army 594th Company EB & SR, and owner of Shirley Motors in Longview for over 40 years.
Mr. Shirley was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Regina Shirley; half brother, Lonnie Shirley, Sr. and sister, Patsy Cowan.
Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Gaye Shirley of Hallsville; stepsons, Casey Neyman and wife, Mary of Hamburg, New York; Colin Saunders and wife, Ashley of Austin; grandchildren, Erin Saunders and Mark and Matthew Neyman and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shirley passed away Friday, September 24, 2004 after a brief illness. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 26, 2004 from
5 until 7 PM.
