Troy Lee Nunnery, III's Obituary
Memorial services for Troy Lee Nunnery, III , 50, of Hallsville will be 1 PM Saturday, April 2nd at the LaGrone Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. J.H. Creal officiating. Mr. Nunnery died Wednesday afternoon at his residence.
He was born December 25, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to Troy Lee Nunnery, II and Gay Burton Nunnery. A twenty-year resident of Hallsville, Troy was a general contractor and home builder. He had many outside interests which included fishing, but his greatest hobby was caring for his family and his large circle of friends. Troy was a ?specialist? in helping other people including his co-workers and competitors.
He is survived by his wife Carol of Hallsville; his daughter, Brenna Nunnery and her special friend, Robbie Cline of Hallsville; a son, Troy Nunnery, IV of Hallsville; mother, Gay Nunnery of Garland, Texas; sisters: Stephanie Gordon of Garland, Tina Coonrod of Rowlett, Texas and Tammy Walker of Dallas; several nieces and nephews including a special grand-niece, Kate Bullock. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Nunnery, II.
The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for all the care and concern extended to them by the members of the associated building trades, Troy?s employers, co-workers, and the people for which he built homes. Special thanks are also extended to Greater Hospice of Texas including Linda Thompson and Winnie Allison and to Jordan Health Care and Joanne Taylor and LaTosha Choice. The family also wishes to extend their thanks to all who donated time and money to the Troy Nunnery Liver Transplant Fund and to those who attended the benefits held locally and in Dallas. Especially appreciated were all the prayers which were offered for Troy and his family.
