Troy Jones' Obituary
Services for Troy Jones, 44, of Lake Cherokee will be held at the Centre Presbyterian Church Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Reverend John Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Elderville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010.
Troy was born in Longview on November 20, 1965 to Bill and Brenda Jones. He was a cabinet maker and worked with his father at Jones Mill Works. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting. Troy enjoyed spending time with his children fishing and being outdoors. He is preceded in death by his grandfather K.J. Hiltzman.
He is survived by his wife Ashley Jones of Lake Cherokee; children Madeline and Aubrey Jones of Lake Cherokee; parents Bill and Brenda Jones of Lake Cherokee; sister Rhonda Hawkins of Spring Hill, TX; grandmother Juanita Hiltzman of Longview; nephews Collin and Cameron Hawkins of Spring Hill; aunt Barbi Spencer and Kay Cochran both of Longview; cousins Lori Horn of Longview, and Misty Horn of Dallas, TX; his faithful companion Oreo and many loving friends.
