Tommy "Tom" Hughes' Obituary
Tommy Hughes (Tom) was born in Omak, Washington on January 27, 1951. He gained his angel wings on April 29, 2020 at his home in Longview, Texas, after having health issues for a long time.
Tommy Hughes and his wife own a local business called East Texas Code Consultants. He was a very intelligent man and loved what he did and all of his clients. Many of his clients became some of his greatest friends. He was licensed through the State of Texas to complete plan reviews and inspections for handicap accessibility on commercial properties. He was in the business for 18 years.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Elvera Joy and Andrew Jackson Hughes, and his brother Gerry Hughes. Tommy is survived by his wife, Jane and many daughters and sons. His daughters are Alisha Hughes, Amanda Hughes, Cherelle Dorsey, Misti Cunningham and Amy Hughes. His sons are Joey Rogers, Damon Rogers and Joel Hughes. He had 22 grand-children and 2 great grand-children. He was a great PawPaw.
