Graveside services for Tommie Jean Grigg , 78, of Kilgore will be 10 AM Tuesday, August 8th at the Ore City Cemetery with Brother Michael White officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Grigg died Monday morning at a Longview nursing center.
She was born June 14, 1928 at Pirtle, Texas to Tom and Retha Sartain Whittington. Mrs. Grigg was a retired administrative secretary for the Kilgore I.S. D. and Ore City I.S. D. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith.
A loving mother and devoted wife, she is survived by her daughters, Melinda Fortune of Shreveport and Melissa Reynolds of Longview; a sister, Rena Watson of San Antonio; granddaughter, Misty Mitchell of Longview and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest ?Chubby? Grigg.
