Tommie A. Campbell Greer's Obituary
Tommie A Campbell Greer was born on October 27, 1938 she met her Lord and savior on July 5, 2019. Tommie was born in Lytle Texas to JC & Leona Campbell. She was one of 7 Campbell children. Tommie grew up in Texas graduating from Pine Tree High School. She was a collector for many years at the credit bureau in Norman Oklahoma. Then worked for a law firm in OKC, meeting some of her lifelong friends. She worked for FDIC in Oklahoma then moved back to Texas before retiring in 2009. Tommie was Christian and was very involved with the local Church of Christ, where she enjoyed ladies bible study and the fellowship. Tommie loved being a Grandma and Gigi. She never met a stranger and always the life of the party even in line at the grocery store. She loved her friends, shopping, traveling, the beach, lake and pool time, playing games, cards but mostly loved cooking for her family and friends. All the grands, nieces and nephews requested her one of a kind Mac-n-cheese!
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Key of North Richland Hills, Texas. Son, Donald Key and wife Lisa of Oklahoma City, OK. Grandchildren , Jeanna & Kevin Russell, Ryan & Jamie Key, Logan & Kelsey Key, Bailey Johnston. Great Grandchildren Wilson, Blake, Brynlie, Cooper, Clay and Elizabeth. Siblings Dortha Rife, Gary Campbell, Charlise Kirk. Many nieces, nephews along with close friends Linda Spotts and Barb Basgall as well as many other good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents JC & Leona Campbell. Siblings Ray Campbell, Lucille Vascoe, Van Campbell and her son Michael Key.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Hallsville Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
