Todd Farley Smith's Obituary
Graveside services for Todd Farley Smith, 39, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Alpine Cemetery on Sam Page Road in Longview with Rev. Keith Lybrand officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Smith passed away Saturday morning in a local hospital from complications after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Todd was born on January 21, 1974 in Texas City, Texas to Mike and Kae Smith. After graduating from high school in Mardella Springs Maryland, Todd proudly served his country in the US Navy on board the USS Enterprise as a Nuclear Tech. After his service in the Navy he worked in IT securities. Todd loved computers and enjoyed his work with them. He loved to travel and enjoyed seeing the world in the Navy and traveling the country after.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Marylou Farley and Addie Smith and her husband Watis Floyd Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mike and Kae Smith; his brother Michael Smith and his wife Tammy; his aunts and uncles Ron and Rae Brashears, Greg and Sheran Farley, Nadine Farley, and Mary and Charley Richardson; and lots of cousins and many wonderful friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his Aunt Rae for all her loving care and attention over the years.
