Tina Gay Crawford
The funeral service for Tina Gay Crawford, 52, of Longview, will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with the Rev. Bill Blanks officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 13 at Rader Funeral Home.
Tina was born in 1963 in Longview, Texas, to J.W. and Viola (Robbie) Crawford and died September 7, 2015, at Whispering Pines Lodge in Longview. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Chris Reagan Crawford and his wife Susan, of Longview, and her nephew, Jesse Lee Crawford of Dallas. Also surviving are uncle Earl Manley Sr., cousins Earl Manley Jr. and wife Dee and Randy Manley, all of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Joy Busey and husband Brad, of League City, Texas.
Tina made friends wherever she went. She accepted whatever life brought her, usually with a smile, and frequently with the laugh that endeared her to so many people. She made people happy just by being herself. Tina loved music, dancing, traveling, swimming and participating in Special Olympics. For many years she attended Sunday school at First Baptist Church of Longview. She was a very special person to many, many people.
