Tina Suzette Freeman Clark's Obituary
Tina Suzette Freeman Clark was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas on November 19, 1961 to parents Dale and Sondra Freeman and left this world to be with her Savior on October 25, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her dad, uncle and grandparents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Shannon; her daughter, Autumn and husband, Steven, grandchildren Castyn, Kian, and KJ; son, Heath and wife, Rebecca, grandchildren Adelae, Tobyn, and Eisley; and son, True; her mom Sondra; her sister Dena, as well as many other loved ones.
Shannon proposed to Mom on February 14th, 1981 and they were married on June 6th, 1981. They loved to spend time outdoors. They took us kiddos camping at Lake O the Pines and many other places around the U.S. Mom really loved taking us on beach vacations and Dad’s thing was the mountains, which Mom really enjoyed too. She was quite the adventurist actually. She went skydiving with Autumn and Heath on two separate occasions. She and Dad went snowmobiling and 4 wheeling on multiple occasions. She really enjoyed river rafting with her last two adventures taking her through the Grand Canyon and Royal Gorge respectively. Mom would join Dad fishing often and one time she even tried hunting (she just couldn’t keep from chatting enough for that kind of adventure). She went on a hot air balloon ride with her dad as well. Mom loved to travel and visit new places as well. She took several cruises with us as a family, just her and Dad, as well as some with just friends. She took two mission trips, one to Haiti through the church, which True got to join her on, and another one with her church to Greece.
Mom loved to do activities with her kids and grandkids. We played games all the time growing up and she would do the same thing with the grandkids, especially the older they got. She also loved to watch our various sporting events between the kids and grandkids. She enjoyed quiet times of just sitting and reading and she loved music. Mom had a beautiful voice and one of her favorite ways to serve the church was to sing as part of the choir and special musical solos.
Mom very clearly showed her personal relationship with Jesus. She would post scripture verses all over the house and usually had a song that encouraged her in the faith for each particular season of life. We will miss mom so much more than we can express in words but we rejoice (and are a little jealous) that she is now present with the Lord.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 2105 East Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m.
