Timmy Ray Hackett's Obituary
Timmy Ray Hackett, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and hardworking logging equipment operator, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023, at the age of 65. He was born on July 22, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his loving parents Paul Hackett and Della Mae Sharp.
Timmy's dedication to his family and his work made him a beloved figure in both his personal and professional life. Timmy's strong work ethic and innate talent allowed him to excel in the logging industry. He operated various equipment with expertise and precision, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. Outside of work, Timmy cherished his time with his family. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Christine Hackett, and a proud father to his two sons, David and Jesse Hackett. His gentle nature, warm smile, and compassionate heart will forever be remembered by those he loved and who loved him in return. Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Hackett and Della Mae Sharp, brothers Paul David Hackett, Johnny Michael Hackett, and grandson Ayden Hackett. He leaves behind many precious family members and friends to carry on his memory. He is survived by his loving wife; Christine Hackett, sons; David Hackett and wife Mary, Jesse Hackett and wife Lisa, grandchildren; Dylan Hackett, and Haleigh Hackett. He is also survived by siblings; Shirley Reynolds, Tammy Johnson, Jerry Grace, Brenda Carpenter, and Eddy Sharp.
A graveside service to honor and remember Timmy's life will be held on October 24, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel, located at 1884 FM 1844, Longview, Texas, 75605. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Timmy's life and share memories and offer support in this difficult time.
As we bid farewell to Timmy, let us remember the kind and gentle soul he was, his determination to provide for his family, and the joy he brought into our lives. In our hearts, his memory shall forever reside, and his impact will continue to inspire us.
