Thomas Warren Lawrence's Obituary
Funeral services for Thomas Warren "Tommy" Lawrence, 77, of Longview will be Friday, June 28 at 2 pm at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Schulik and Rev. Charles Barham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27 from 6 until 8 PM.
Mr. Lawrence passed away Monday, June 24, 2013.
He was born June 9, 1936 in Longview. A longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church, he was currently attending Mobberly Baptist Church and a member of the Norwood Sunday School Class. He worked in Real Estate all his life. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman, hunting fishing he loved sitting around the camp fire telling jokes and stories. He truly enjoyed fishing trips with the Delta Fishing Club to south Louisiana. He enjoyed traveling the world with Sherry and friends, especially Key West because that is where they were married. He loved to play golf, golfing with his buddies was also a passion for him.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Holly and Celia Lawrence.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Watkins Lawrence; His Brother Holly Moody Lawrence, Daughter, Ann Lawrence Block, son Clay Carter Lawrence, Grandchildren; Clay Carter Lawrence, Jr, Celia Spiller Frost and husband, Andrew, Ellen Spiller and husband, Joel Wooten and Great Grandchildren Rowan Walker Frost, Asa Carter Frost, Wren Elizabeth Frost and Everett Joel Wooten; Niece and nephew, Stephen Lawrence and Patricia Lawrence. Bonus family, Brad Watkins and granddaughter, Lauren Watkins, Barry Watkins and wife, Yvette, grandchildren, Duane Watkins, Layne Watkins and Natalie Watkins;
