Thomas Allen Riley's Obituary
Thomas Allen Riley was born on May 8, 1942 in Fouke, AR., to Thomas A. Riley Sr. and Maudie May Riley Mangum, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday March 3, 2018 in Longview. Funeral services for Thomas A. Riley, age 75 of Henderson, will be held Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Jason Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 6, from 6pm until 8pm at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, George Riley, and Johnny Riley, sisters Rachel Rainwater, Norma Jean Guthrie, and Lisa Ann Mangum, and grandson Paddon Riley.
He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Mickie Sue Riley, brothers, Grover Eugene Riley and Donald Ray Mangum, sister Donna Kay Christie and brother in law Larry, also surviving are daughters Amanda Morgan and son in law Scott, Tammy Stevenson and son in law Joe, Lori Plunkett, Theresa and Darlene.
Sons Thomas A. Riley Jr, and Thomas Dewayne Riley, grandchildren Marisa, Melisa, Jessica, Keith, Rex, Callie, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
T.A. retired from driving a truck after 60 years, earning a 3 Million Mile Safe Driver Award. He spent all of his time with Mickie Sue, camping, fishing, and having cook outs with his friends and family. Mr. Riley also loved being outdoors, and enjoying the beauty of God’s work. He took pride in his yard and was always mowing pruning, and growing things. T.A. was a giving man and helped others whenever he could, and will be sorely missed by so many but remembered always .
