Dear Joyce, Andrea, Brian, Daphne, David, and litle Alexandre and Mac: The passing of Mac filled me with great sadness. I had seen him very sick and I saw how he fought the disease and, somehow, I believed he could continue that fight forever but God had other plans. Mac was my ally against David's disorganization. It was good to know that he supported me. I often look at a photo I have with him the night prior to your wedding Brian. I have it in a frame in the living room I that is the way he will remain in my memory, proud, and happy. All my love and my most sincere condolences. Joyce,Andrea and Brian as ya'll well know, Mac and I seldom agreed on anything but over a lifetime of almost 50 years I learned to love and appreciate him while I like to think that he came to at least tolerate me a little. In any event he was my favourite brother-in-law and the only one of my big sister's old boyfriends that I liked. I shall miss him very much. Mac was the most organized and hard working person I have ever known. Where he is now I don't know but wherever he is it is going to be a much cleaner and better organized place with Mac there. He fought the final good fight bravely as he always did in his too-short life.

Fred retired from Eastman and we live on Lake Cherokee and spend a lot of time traveling......Becky lives in OK and has two boys and Beth in New Mexico and has our youngest grandson. He is 4...black eyes and black hair....
he is adopted...our little Indian. Papaw's favorite.
